Ready, set, go...
Hey all! Welcome to my blog for Semester At Sea. My ultimate goal is to be able to keep up with a few postings per port, including journal entries and photos. Only 8 days to go until I leave for the Bahamas and only 11 days until disembarkation. Thanks to everyone who has supported me financially and otherwise, all the encouragement is appreciated more than words can express. I recognize that this voyage will play a significant role in my life and cannot wait to share my experiences with you. Until later, "Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, and be constant in prayer" Romans 12:12.

Travel safely, Mason. We'll be watching from a distant shore...
Mason, so glad you started the blog so we can follow you in this big adventure. Love that technology! You are in my prayers.
So...rough having to leave from the Bahamas! How beautiful is it? Love you!
Mason...that was Mamacita, not anon. :)
So you're off! This will undoubtedly be the greatest adventure (so far) of your life. I'm so glad you started this blog so you can share with all of us ---Your mom brought your itinerary so that I can follow between ports. I'd gone online and found the list for the trip but had no dates. As I said before, my prayers go with you and I'm looking forward to reading and seeing your reports. Much love, Gram
Hip, hip, hoorrrraaayyyy! Have a wonderful time, enjoying the simplicity of knowing if it is an A day or a B day, and post notes when you can. A guy named Casey (from F'93) wrote a song about the SS Universe that still makes me laugh. I can hardly wait to hear the song you write. Bon voyage!
This is the day you set sail! Bon Voyage and Vaya con Dios! Can't wait to follow this adventure through your eyes and words, Mason. Be safe and know how much you are loved.
You must be aboard and pretty well settled in for the days ahead! I'm sure you can feel the excitement in the whole family and your "circle of friends" --- As I said earlier, Vaya con dios. I love the scripture you have chosen as your mantra for the voyage!
Sailing, sailing over the ocean blue. Just spoke with your mom and had a good laugh over where you might be by now. We will see her and Paul this afternoon for a BBQ. Love you much!
